Harking back to the formidable and ruthless raiders of Scandinavia, The Gjerbundu Helmet is a wearable, authentic replica of a viking age helmet. It features a menacing peaked shaped design with raised bars that strengthen the helmet and make for a more faceted finish. It also has a protective chainmail aventail to the rear and asharp point central to the top of the helmet. This wouldcome in handy if the helmet itself was swiftly promoted to a primary weapon during combat. This would be a great piece of history to take home and would sit well any history themed display.
